in a big town like London, things can slip by you easily. The latest gossip, the newest obsession of all regular teens, and the dirt road called Morgan Lane. It is easy to be lost in the city life, and lose thoughts about school, friends, family, and music. That's why, if you're not a student at Morgan Academy, then you would not take note in lonely Morgan Avenue. Sitting just outside the big city, the dirt path is old, and looks abandoned, but is surrounded by beautiful flowers, red, pink, orange, and yellow. If you walk along the sidewalk for about fifteen minutes, or take a short, five minute car ride, you will see the flowers, and then an old building up ahead. Morgan academy
the school was founded in 1884 as a private boarding school. it was originally called Wright Academy, named after William Wright, who was a genius man, but was mad at the world. The kooky old mad opened up the academy for other smart, yet private teenagers. The school had three hundred students, and was successfully ran until 1940. That was when William Wright died, and the building was abandoned for forty five years, and the dirt road was locked up.
in 1985, William Wright the 3rd was a happy, young man. he had just married and settled down in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1985, his first daughter was born, and she was named Morgan Willow Wright. The three lived happily in Nashville until 1990. William was an actor, his wife, Anne, a fashion designer, and his Morgan was a little superstar herself. In 1990, tough, their perfect little world fell apart. The family was in a car crash, and Morgan was killed. Crushed by her death, William moved his family away from Nashville, to New York. In the same year, his wife gave birth to a little girl, who they named Willow Wright. The family lived in New York until 2001. Anne and William had gotten a divorce, but Anne stayed in New York after being given custody of Willow, so their family would not completely break.
in 2001, William moved to London, England, and bought the lonely dirt road and old academy building. He opened a creative arts school, with everything from art, theater, music, to graphic arts, fashion design, and photography. he named it Morgan Academy, after his daughter. The school is now a boarding school for teens and young adults ages fourteen to twenty. The school is private, and is very expensive to attend, but scholarships are handed out freely, and there is no uniform or restrictions on students. Students can walk into London anytime they want, as long as it is not during class. All the locals speak English, but since students come from all around the world to attend the school, it is very diverse and cultural.
